June 10, 2010

Here are three of the new cotswold sheep that now live at Sarah's Sheep Farm. These three are females and we have a black ram lamb, but he is camera shy! Of course, they don't look like this any more, we had them sheared Friday morning. I have been washing their fleece, and it is sooooo shiny and soft.

It is hot, hot, hot here in Arkansas, so we have been staying indoors a lot. The animals look miserable, too. It makes me want to bring them all in the house (could you imagine the pet hair in the carpet?)

The children are already bored with summer. That took about 2 days. I think that must be a record! The oldest two are at band camp during the day this week, so it has just been me and the 9year old. He has really been mama's little helper this week! We have done the grocery shopping and he has helped make some batts for the store. Next week, he and his brother and going to church camp. My boys have never both been away from home, but at least they will have each other! It will be pretty quiet around here!
